THE OTHERS

The Anchor at Burton Bradstock 01308 871330
A pub with a good reputation for fresh local fish but weak on atmosphere and
certainly ‘over eggs it’ where the food is concerned

On the cliff below the Golden Cap – good crab sandwiches etc.

The Marquis of Lorne at Nettlecombe 01308 485236

along the old Maiden Newton to Bridport branch line railway track

The Manor Hotel at West Bexington 01308 897616
The cellar bar and conservatory serve a good selection of snacks and full menu
for both lunch and dinner but we consider their restaurant menu to be too
ambitious and therefore poor value – outside eating (wp)

The Three Horseshoes at Powerstock 01308 485328
An archetypal Dorset thatched village miles from nowhere serving good pub
grub (evenings too) – handy after walking around nearby Egardon Hill –
good outside tables (wp)
